MVR Power App

In Myanmar, there are power cuts. The MVR Power App will tell you when they are happening if you follow these steps:

1. Contact an MVR Power Representative by emailing myanmarvrpower@gmail.com
2. Check this link to see when there is power in your home and when not!
3. Bask in the glorious soothing light of Power Knowledge!

MVR Demos

As a demonstration of what can be done with simple VR tools, MVR has created some 3D (Stereo) Stills for real estate viewings. To make these files we:

1. Recorded a panoramic image with Cardboard Camera.
2. Extracted the left and right images and the audio with Andrew Perry's superb tools.
3. Took both the left and right images and edited them with GIMP to make a single image ready for Youtube, as explained by this smashing guide.
4. Recorded a new atmospheric audio file from the streets of Yangon, edited with Audacity, and saved as our backing track.
5. Used ffmpeg to render a new .mp4 file. This is the still image looped over the duration of the audio file into a video.
6. Used youtube's 360 metadata app to tag the file as 3D 360 and uploaded to youtube.
7. Enjoyed and shared!

This process will probably be automated through a single click with a new update to Cardboard Camera's App, but for now we can follow these steps.
